About

Hi, I'm Zhen — a Biomedical Engineering researcher, curious learner, and someone who enjoys exploring both science and the world beyond it.

Research

I work on quantitative MRI and MRI physics, with a particular interest in developing imaging methods that can provide quantitative information about tissue properties.

My research sits at the intersection of engineering, imaging, computation, and medicine. I enjoy both the technical challenge of solving a problem and the process of turning an idea into something that actually works.

Beyond Research

Outside the lab, I like being outdoors and exploring new places. Hiking, traveling, reading, and simply spending time outside are some of the things that keep me curious and grounded.

This Website

I made this website as a place to collect the different parts of my life — research I care about, things I learn, places I visit, and small moments worth remembering.

Think of it as a little corner of the internet that is part portfolio, part notebook, and part personal archive.
